Axel Wretemark is a forester who spent his early career in the field before moving into IT, where he has worked as solution architect and test lead on some of Sweden's largest enterprise system programmes. He founded WoodComp, which builds AI tools for Swedish forestry including SkogsAI, and he writes Boreal Tech Brief every week to track how AI, remote sensing, machinery and data are changing how forests are managed. He lives in Östergötland, Sweden.
